On Sunday the midwest had a huge windstorm that did some serious damage. Cincinnati had a huge blackout and my sister and I are one of hundreds-of-thousands without power. Our power is still out and will probably not return until Sunday (according to Duke).
I've kind of liked it, honestly. My sister was telling me that God has a way to slow people down and this is one of them. She also asked me if this was the end of the world though...
Anyway, I have felt like I live in the movie of "I Am Legend" with Will Smith. Everyday, since the power was out everywhere, I'd just roam around and try desperately to find something to do and then fold in at night. It's a good movie, but it has felt like my life the past 4 days.
Lonely. But a good lonely.
